Disruptions on inter-island ferries expected throughout the day
WITH storm Aiden making its presence felt across the Northern Isles, NorthLink has now cancelled Saturday’s ferry and freight boat operations to and from Shetland.
Sunday night’s sailings are set to go ahead but passengers are being told to expect delays. The southbound sailing of the Hrossey may be brought forward.

Meanwhile, Bluemull Sound, Yell Sound and Whalsay ferry services have been suspended. The Bressay ferry continues with a further review at 6pm.
