Coronavirus / Hardship fund open for applications

GOVERNMENT grants of either £1,000 or £1,500 are now available to a narrow selection of businesses and employers affected by the latest Covid-19 restrictions brought in on 7 October.

Applications to the coronavirus business hardship fund can be made from today (20 October) through to 3 November.

Eligible for the scheme are:-

  • Hospitality businesses and gyms required to operate in a restricted, but not those providing takeaway food as the core of their business;
  • Producers/wholesale businesses supplying primarily perishable supplies to hospitality businesses required to close or operate in a restricted way.
