Arts / In pictures: new outdoor exhibition space comes to life on Friday night
Thanks to Austin Taylor for these photos of artist Vivian Ross-Smith occupying Shetland Arts’ new outdoor exhibition space in the Mareel car park on Friday night.
Donning a wearable painting, she brought a slice of contemporary art culture to the car park for an hour between 8pm and 9pm.
Ross-Smith will periodically be present in the modified greenhouse, but otherwise the exhibition will be unmanned.
Her work explores perceptions of space and accessibility in relation to her painting and the art world during the current pandemic.
