Court / Man accused of serious sexual offences released on bail
A YOUNG man was released on bail after appearing from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court accused of a string of serious sexual offences, including several charges of rape.
Mark Fullerton, whose address was given as Shetland, made no plea during a private court appearance via video link on Tuesday.
He faces a total of 12 charges of which nine relate to sexual offences. He is also charged with two counts of assault and one of stalking.
The case against the 20-year old was continued for further examination. A date for a next court appearance has not been confirmed yet.
