Emergency services / Fire damages Vidlin cottage
A HOLIDAY cottage in Vidlin was extensively damaged in a fire late on Wednesday afternoon.
Two fire crews from Brae were called to the blaze which damaged the roof and the upstairs rooms of the building. The cottage was not rented out at the time and no-one was injured.
Fire control in Dundee said that they were alerted to the fire at 5.45pm. Hose reel jets were used to extinguish the fire by 7.20pm.
