Court / Man given three-year supervision order
A MAN has been placed under supervision for three years after appearing in court on charges relating to indecent images.
James Adam Tait, of Dalgety Bay, previously admitted to taking or permitting to be taken, or make, indecent photographs or pseudo photographs at an address in Lerwick on or between 15 March 2014 and 17 June 2019.
The 50-year-old also previously admitted possessing an extreme pornographic image on or between 24 April 2016 and 25 June 2019.
Tait was placed under supervision for three years when his case called at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
He was also given 100 hours of unpaid work to complete.
Tait was put on the sex offenders register and the court also ordered forfeiture of all items which contained the images.
