Court / Man given supervision and non-harassment order
A MAN from Sandwick has been sentenced after admitting striking his partner on her head to her injury earlier this year.
Benjamin Stone, of Park Road, was placed under supervision and given a non-harassment order for 12 months at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
He previously admitted striking the woman at the public car park at North Toogs in Burra on 21 March.
Stone was also fined £340 for breaching bail conditions on two court orders in that he repeatedly contacted the woman he had been ordered not to approach or contact or attempt to contact.
