CIVIL engineering firm Tulloch Developments is making slow and steady progress digging up the deep peat at Kergord for the access track for the planned converter station higher up the valley.
Blanket bog is recognised as a globally important carbon sink. Campaigners have questioned the accuracy of the ten-year-old carbon payback calculations approved by the Scottish Government when granting planning consent for the Viking Energy wind farm project.
