Court / Woman fined after admitting stealing from shop she worked in
A WOMAN has been fined after she admitting stealing groceries from a shop she worked in.
Julie Jamieson, of Meadowfield Crescent, Scalloway, took items from the village’s Checkout store on or between 7 March and 28 March.
The 46-year-old admitted the charges at a hearing at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Jamieson pleaded guilty to stealing items including a bottle of wine, a number of cleaning products, food and a quantity of dog treats.
She was ordered by Sheriff Ian Cruickshank to pay £520 in fines.
