Community / Cunningsburgh Show cancelled due to coronavirus pandemic
THIS year’s Cunningsburgh Show has been cancelled as a result of the ongoing coronavirus situation.
The popular agricultural show was due to take place in August.
The Cunningsburgh and Districts Agricultural Society, which organises the event, said it had been monitoring the unfolding Covid-19 situation and any future restrictions.
“Regrettably, the committee have made the sad decision that this year’s show cannot go ahead and it is therefore cancelled to protect the health of exhibitors, volunteers and visitors to the event,” it said.
The committee encouraged people to “stay safe – and see you in 2021”.
It comes after the Voe Show was also cancelled.
