Community / Brae foodbank to visit Mossbank

THE TEAM behind the newly established foodbank in Brae is holding a drop-in event in Mossbank on Thursday (9 April).

The Mossbank hall will be open between 11.30am and 12.30pm for anyone in need of basic food items and toiletries.

Food parcels will be made up ready for collection.

No registration is required but folk can inform organiser Brae Gospel Hall of the number of people in their household to make sure they receive what they need.

The temporary Brae foodbank began at the village’s gospel hall last month to help out anyone in need during the coronavirus crisis.

The Mossbank drop-in event is being held as a trial.

The Brae foodbank, meanwhile, will next be open between 9.30am and 10.30am on Thursday at the gospel hall.

A fundraising page has been created for anyone who wishes to donate money to the foodbank.
