Rubbish (Swedish airport operator insists remote tower technology is safe; SN, 26 February 2020).

They don’t have the wind speeds we have in Shetland. Their maximum wind speed, which is usually in February, is 60mph. The rest of the year is virtually calm.

Safety is paramount and if remote tower technology comes to Sumburgh I for one will be using the ferry in future.
