Letters / There are more important issues of inequality

I note Dorothy O’Brian’s comments about women guizing in the Lerwick Up Helly Aa (‘Man up and support the women’; SN, 16 January 2020).

I do not go out guizing, however, I feel there are far more important issues of sexual inequality to be resolved in Shetland.

Domestic violence against women, pay inequality and career development while raising a family are some of the more serious ones.

These are of concern 365 days a year, not just one night.
