Police are appealing for witnesses after the office of plant hire and quarrying contractor EMN Plant, at Sellaness, was broken into overnight from Sunday to Monday.
Police said damaged had been caused to the reception area and item were removed.
The housebreaking is likely to have taken place between 4pm on Sunday and 7am on Monday morning.
A police spokesperson said: “Any person who may have witnessed the incident or knows anyone who was in the area is encouraged to contact Lerwick Police station on 101.
