Community / Gott housing nears completion
THE LATEST phase of Hjaltland Housing Association’s affordable housing at Gott in Tingwall is close to completion.
There will be an opportunity to view a number of the properties at Stura on Friday (25 October) between 2pm and 4pm, with Hjaltland staff on hand to answer any questions.
There are 24 new properties at Stura, including 18 which will be for social rent.
The remaining six are part of the Scottish Government’s new supply shared equity scheme.
The £4.1 million project was designed by Visio Architecture and constructed by E&H Building Contractors Ltd under a design and build contract, with £2.5 million being provided by the Scottish Government.
The Stura scheme, next to Gaet-A-Gott, features a total of 40 properties, with the construction taking place in two phases.
