Court / Man pleads guilty to two charges
A MAN has been released on bail after appearing from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Thursday.
James Christie, of Bridge End, Burra, admitted causing fear or alarm to his ex-partner on various occasions between 23 March and 16 June, as well as threatening a man with violence.
The 39-year-old also pleaded guilty to sending numerous text messages on various occasions between 13 May and 16 June that were grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character.
Christie’s case was adjourned for reports until 23 October.
