Election letters 2019 / Death knell for fixed links?
I would like to ask Tom Wills in a manner of courtesy and respect his opinion on fixed links, as we all know a prominent figure in his family is vehemently against fixed links, and feel it important that we hear his opinion on this matter?
His reply will be of great interest to all island communities at a time Derek Mackay’s cheque book is out to purchase – dare I say it nationalise – Ferguson’s shipyard!
I feel this would be the death knell of the aspirations of our island communities for fixed links in the future.
The question bears no malice or demonisation of his party, but I feel it’s important to know his stance on such an important issue for Shetland.
