Court / Remanded in custody
A MAN from Aberdeen was remanded in custody after appearing in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Monday.
Kasim Javed, 31, appeared from custody on a petition alleging a charge of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
He was also charged with behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
Javed made no plea, was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
