News / Helicopter lands safely
AN EMERGENCY was declared at Sumburgh Airport on Wednesday morning after an alarm was raised by an inbound helicopter.
The Bristow helicopter, which had 20 people on board and was serving the oil industry, landed safely, with emergency services stood down shortly before 11am.
