Court / Round-up from Lerwick Sheriff Court
A MAN appeared in private in Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday on a petition alleging assault to injury and assault to injury with permanent disfigurement.
Lewis John Wallace Fraser, of Lerwick, made no plea and was committed for further examination.
The 19-year-old was released on bail.
A MAN was given 24 hours to leave Shetland after appearing at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
John Prendergast, 40, whose address was given as Norgaet, Lerwick, but who is moving to Liverpool, was told not to return to the Isles unless to attend court or meet his solicitor.
Prendergast pleaded not guilty to a charge of supplying heroin at the Gilbert Bain Hospital on 8 April. His case is continued with a trial date set for 18 July.
