Emergency services / Three vehicles damaged

All vehicles show signs of being deliberately scratched with a sharp implement.

POLICE are appealing for information after three vehicles were damaged in Lerwick and Scalloway in less than a week.

Two of the incidents happened on Leslie Road and Goodlad Crescent between 5pm on Saturday and 3pm on Monday.

In Scalloway’s Sycamore Avenue a vehicle parked on private ground was damaged between last Wednesday and yesterday (Monday).

All vehicles showed signs of being deliberately scratched with a sharp implement.

Police are also looking for information after a quantity of alcohol was stolen from a garage in Mid Yell overnight from Friday into Saturday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland in Shetland on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 55511. Alternatively they can attend at Lerwick Police Station.
