Education / Scalloway school closed due to leaking water tank
PUPILS attending Scalloway primary school and pre-school have been granted an extra day holiday on Monday (15 April) due to a leaking water tank in the building.
Acting head teacher J Williamson said the school will be closed to all pupils.
“We hope to reopen on Tuesday 16 April. Apologies for any inconvenience this causes but it is unfortunate timing,” she said in a Facebook post.
“Hope you all had a lovely holiday and unless you hear from me again we will see you all on Tuesday.
