Marine / Trawler towed in after engine failure near Ninian oil field
THE Banff registered fishing boat Beryl arrived at Lerwick harbour on Friday afternoon after having been towed in by the Skerries based trawler Fairway.
The 28-metre trawler broke down with mechanical problems near the Ninian oil field, around 90 miles to the northeast of Shetland.
On arrival at the port the tow was taken over by the harbour tug Knab to assist the vessel to get alongside at Victoria Pier.
