Court / Former police officer in private court appearance
A FORMER police officer and current officer with Lerwick Sheriff Court appeared in private and from custody at the town’s court on Monday charged with attempting to defeat the ends of justice and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Fifty-six year old Robert Allan Veighey, from Lerwick, made no plea and was committed for further examination. He was released on bail.
