Letters / What’s the point of the planning committee?
A campaigner against the wind farm called on councillors before the planning committee meeting last Wednesday to “be brave” (Wind farm decision deferred for a week; SN, 13/02/2019)
There was only one brave councillor that day, with the rest finding a convenient excuse not to make an inevitable decision.
If the planning committee cannot do the job asked of it, what is the point of it?
