Court / Accused of drink driving
A WOMAN from Levenwick appeared from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Monday accused of driving while five and a half times the alcohol limit.
Samantha Anderson, of South Punds Park, had her case continued without plea before she was released on bail.
The 42-year-old was accused of driving on Cumliewick Road in Sandwick on Sunday (16 December) with 121 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The limit is 22 microgrammes.
A crown request to seize her car in the meantime was granted, and she was ordered not to drive or be in charge of a vehicle before her next court appearance on Wednesday.
