News / Man reported missing

POLICE are looking for help in tracing a man who has been reported missing from his home in Shetland.

Georden Williamson. Photo provided by Police Scotland.

Twenty six year old Georden Williamson has not been in contact with his family since late October, and he was last seen in the Stranraer area.

Police said that “while this is not out of character, he is considered to be vulnerable and officers are keen to ensure his welfare”.

They said it is possible that Georden may have travelled more widely, given the passage of time.

He is described as being around six foot two inches tall, well built and with shoulder length curly brown hair and a beard.

Police said he wears a knitted cap, a black puffer jacket and an old pair of jeans with boots and trainers. He is also thought to have a guitar in his possession.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting reference NL1554/18.
