A CUNNINGSBURGH cafe and shop was highly commended at last week’s Highlands and Islands Food and Drink Awards.

Crofter Hazel Mackenzie runs the farm shop and cafe.

Mackenzie’s Farm Shop & Café was recognised in the new business award section, which was ultimately won by Kintyre’s Beinn an Tuirc Distillers.

The company was also nominated in the independent retailer of the year category.
