News / BBC crime drama lands Scottish BAFTA nods
THE FOURTH series of BBC crime drama Shetland has landed a number of Scottish BAFTA nominations.
Leading star Douglas Henshall is up for the actor television award, while the programme is also nominated in the television scripted category.
The show’s David Kane is also shortlisted in the writer film/television section.
Henshall, who plays the role of DI Jimmy Perez, tweeted that the team was “very chuffed” with the nominations.
Six-part series Shetland returned to screens in the UK back in February, with filming recently taking place in the isles for the follow-up fifth series.
The BAFTA Scotland awards will take place in Glasgow on 4 November.
