GUSTS of up to 60 miles per hour are expected on Wednesday as the first of the autumn gales sweep across Shetland.
The Met Office has now issued a yellow ‘be aware’ warning, saying ferry services might be affected.
The windy weather affecting the whole of Scotland over the next days are said to be the remnants of hurricane Helene.
