News / ‘Substantial’ damage caused to old Anderson High School
POLICE have launched an investigation after “substantial” damage was caused to rooms at the old Anderson High School.
The incident occurred between 2 August and 9 August at the building on Lovers Loan in Lerwick after people gained access through a skylight window.
Officers are also looking for information following reports of vandalism to a red Vauxhall Corsa on Lerwick’s Gilbertson Road.
The incident, which saw a wing mirror being broken, took place at some point between 10pm on Wednesday (8 August) and 5.45am the following day.
Anyone with information on either matter is asked to contact police on 101 or visit Lerwick Police Station.
