POLICE have launched an investigation after items were stolen from a car in Lerwick following a break-in.

The red car had its window smashed while parked at Nederdale between 7.30pm on Tuesday and 10.30am this morning (Wednesday).

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or visit Lerwick Police Station, while they can phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
