News / Driver taken to hospital

A WOMAN was taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital in Lerwick on Tuesday morning following a two-vehicle road accident near the Voxter quarry.

The incident, which occurred on the B9076, involved a Renault Scenic and a Ford Focus.

The driver of the Renault was taken to hospital but was not believed to be seriously injured.
