News / Man remanded on assault to severe injury charge
A MAN from Irvine was remanded in custody after appearing at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Monday accused of assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement.
Thirty two year old Michael Gallagher, who appeared in private from custody, was also charged with assault to injury.
He made no plea and was committed for further examination.
Meanwhile, an 18 year old woman from Dalry in Ayrshire was released on bail after appearing from custody in private at the court on Monday.
Annemarie Sneddon was charged with assault, assault to injury and theft.
She made no plea and was committed for further examination.
