News / Jets fly over isles for RAF centenary celebrations
TWO Typhoon fighter jets swooped over Shetland on Tuesday afternoon as part of the RAF’s 100th anniversary celebrations.
The Lossiemouth jets were taking part in a special baton relay across the country to mark the RAF’s centenary year.
Pupils and staff at Bell’s Brae school in Lerwick were on hand to wave at the jets as they flew by.
