News / Ferry delays likely

FERRY operator NorthLink is keeping most of its scheduled sailings under review this weekend, as more gales are likely to have an impact on services.

An update on Saturday’s northbound sailing of the Hrossey is now due tomorrow morning, but the southbound sailing has already been brought forward by three hours to avoid the worst of the weather.

The Hjaltland will now depart from Lerwick at 4pm rather than the scheduled time of 7pm.
