A TWENTY four year old man has been banned from driving for nearly two years after he admitted taking the wheel while more than three times over the legal limit earlier this year.
Ryan Johnson, of Joss Street, Invergordon, pleaded guilty to driving from Lerwick to Sumburgh on 30 July with 78 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath The legal limit is 22 microgrammes.
He was given a 20-month driving ban and fined £600.
