News / Take a look around the new Anderson High School
THE PUBLIC is being invited to have a look around the new Anderson High School in Lerwick next month.
Two open days will be held on 4 November and 11 November, which are both Saturdays, and tours will take place between 11am and 3pm.
The guided tours are expected to take around one hour and those interested in attending are invited to make a booking.
Tour times will depend on demand but Shetland Islands Council will look to accommodate people who have a preferred start time.
Staff need a booking name, the number in the party, a preferred time and date, as well as contact details.
People are asked to email this information to AHS.opendaybookings@shetland.gov.uk or phone in on 01595 808080.
Keys to the £55.75 million school and its halls of residence were handed over to the SIC earlier this month after its construction was signed off.
Secondary four, five and six pupils are due to start at the school on 27 October, with secondary one, two and three joining them on 30 October.
