News / Missing jet-skier found safe
AITH’S relief lifeboat was launched on Sunday evening to search for a missing jet-skier, who was subsequently found safe and well.
The Roger and Joy Freeman vessel was launched just after 7pm to seek out the jet-skier, who had last been seen at around 2pm at Ronas Voe in Shetland’s North Mainland.
The crew were stood down after just under an hour when the individual was found.
