News / Court to open its doors
LERWICK Sheriff Court will take part in this year’s Doors Open Days event next weekend.
The King Erik St building will open its doors to the public on 9 September between 10am and 1pm to allow visitors to have a look around the courtroom.
A mock trial may held if there is enough people in attendance, while security firm G4S – which transfers people to court from custody – will also be in the building to meet the public.
