A MAN has been taken into custody and is expected to appear at Lerwick Sheriff Court in due course after local police attempted to trace a person they described as ‘suspicious’.

Officers asked for eyewitness information at the weekend relating to a man seen in Brae on Saturday. 

Police thanked the public for their assistance.
