News / Lerwick drugs raid
POLICE in Shetland have confirmed that officers searched a house on Lerwick’s South Road on Sunday afternoon with assistance from the Dogs Against Drugs team.
A police spokesman gave no details as to the type and amount of drugs seized in the operation.
Chief inspector Lindsay Tulloch said: “This is part of ongoing investigations into the supply of class A drugs on Shetland.
“I would ask the public to assist and report anyone they believed to be involved in selling drugs or anyone they see acting in a suspicious manner, every bit of information may help regardless of how trivial it may seem.”
