A TWO-VEHICLE road accident took place in Shetland’s north mainland at teatime on Sunday.
Police said a collision took place on the B9078 road near Stenness, to the south west of Eshaness, at around 5.45pm. A passenger was taken to hospital with a “superficial” injury, officers said.
Two ambulances and a police car attended, and the road was blocked initially but was able to be reopened shortly afterwards.
