News / Fair Isle ferry fault
THE FAIR Isle ferry service has been suspended following a technical fault.
The Good Shepherd developed a water pump failure on its main engine on Tuesday morning before departing Fair Isle.
Engineers are flying to the remote island at midday and it is hoped that a sailing will take place in the afternoon.
