A MUSICAL theatre production of a Terry Pratchett story is set to take place in Lerwick this weekend.

The Open Door children’s drama group are opening their version of The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents at the Garrison Theatre on Friday night.

There will also be showings on Saturday evening and on Sunday at 2pm.

The fantasy story, which has been adapted by Matthew Holmes, centres on the Amazing Maurice – a cat – and talking rats, who are travelling to the town Bad Blintz.

Tickets can be bought from the Shetland Arts box office.
