News / Bird’s nest causes power cut
POWER was lost to a number of properties in North Roe in the early hours of Wednesday morning after a bird’s nest interfered the overhead network.
Engineers “safely moved” the nest before restoring electricity to all 72 affected properties just before 5am.
The customers lost supply for nearly three hours and it was restored in stages.
