News / Delay to southbound sailing
NORTHLINK passenger ferry MV Hrossey is expected to arrive in Lerwick at teatime on Wednesday after having to return to Aberdeen last night after some windows smashed in strong winds.
The vessel eventually departed Aberdeen again shortly after 5am and is due to arrive in Kirkwall at 11.30am, before arriving in Lerwick at around 5.15pm.
That will have a knock-on impact on the southbound sailing from Lerwick to Aberdeen on Wednesday, which had been due to depart at 5.30pm.
NorthLink said an update on the sailing time would be given once more information is available.
