News / NorthLink weather warning
NORTHLINK has warned passengers that ferries to and from Shetland will be disrupted on Tuesday due to adverse weather.
The Hrossey‘s southbound sailing will now depart Lerwick at 1pm instead of 7pm.
The Hjaltland‘s northbound journey is due to make its scheduled stop in Kirkwall at 11pm, but its departure for Shetland may be delayed until 7am on Wednesday.
If this is the case, the ferry would be estimated to arrive in Lerwick at 1.30pm.
The northbound freight sailing on Tuesday, meanwhile, will not make its journey to Lerwick and will instead turn back for Aberdeen once it arrives in Kirkwall.
