News / Minions stolen in Lerwick

Have you seen the Minions? If so, contact Lerwick Police Station.

POLICE are appealing for information after two gas canisters decorated like Minions from the film Despicable Me were reported stolen in Lerwick.

The items were taken from outside L&M Engineering in Garthspool at some point between 5.30pm on Thursday and 10am on Friday.

One canister is 20 inches tall and the other is 30 inches. They had been bolted to the roof of a canister cage before being taken.

Anyone with information is asked to contact local police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. Alternatively, they can visit Lerwick Police Station.
