News / Levenwick loop roadworks
PART of the Levenwick loop road is to be closed while Shetland Islands Council’s roads department carries out essential resurfacing work.
The work, at the south end of the road off the main A970, gets under way tomorrow (Wednesday 1 March) and is expected to last for 7-10 days.
The road will be shut between 9am and 12.30pm, and from 1pm until 4pm each day.
Alternative routes are available and the council said it wanted to apologise for any inconvenience.
